I was running 20psi, i dont use meth i use 91% denatured alcohol. I was racing all day. The time it went i was in 4th gear at about 6500rpm and it just went POP, like when you shift and shoot a flame. Then the engine died, and sounded like ***. =( Donations welcome

Damn, almost makes me sick to my stomach. Rx-7 store built my 1/2 as well. I think i'm going to stick with straight methanol, much better cooling properties. Keeping my fingers crossed.

So many things to go wrong, no faith fellas? even PD's vorteched LS1 will eventually pop. granted it may take longer but thats the game we play!

One of the main reasons I went with RA super seals is to try to cut down on the rebuild cost! At least the housings, rotors and turbo stand a chance if the apex seals dont shatter!!!!

You can't really rev match in a roll race, thats a shifting term.

Brake boosting, however, makes a huge difference and the bigger your turbo, the more it will help. I can brake boost in 2nd, make 22 psi and start smoking the tires off without accelerating. Its a weird feeling.

Yea, I am just tired of this car being shitty (reliablility wise). I can't even drive it to FL without something breaking. Next motor will be a LSX for sure.

Haha you can tell by the sound that he was not making 700? You have to at least put a guess in then. I am sure Ice can find out if he does some digging.

I was making a guess at 700rwp. He really wont disclose exactly what he has and what boost he runs, so its kinda hard to judge. But like i said, for him to be able to lay stripes on the road with SLICKS in 3rd gear, its gotta have some *** behind it.

Besides, i have raced and beat a 560rwp cobra which is 3600lbs. The supra is around the same i believe, and the supra walked on me. He had to be over 600rwp.

He was making almost 500 to the wheels!!! Not 200-300. For a supra to pull 3 cars on him like that it would have to be making in the 650-700 range.
