FD T2 vs MKIV Supra TT v. freeway

My mods: koyo radiator, FMIC, power-fc, apexi dual intake, full turboback exhaust, injectors, fuelpump.

The other night I went to a local car meet at a 24-7 StarBucks to chill with some friends. Some middle eastern guy with a fat bling fake diamond earing in an integra comes over and talks ****, he tells me his friend will race me. *******'s friend comes with his spraying civic hatch. Civic Hatch owner then decides that he's no match just by looking so he calls his friend with a Supra.

Supra owner comes by, he was a cool guy. He didn't talk **** or anything. I found out his car won "Best Overall Sports Car" at Falken Drift Show in San Francisco recently. I decide to race on the freeway because I don't feel like beating on my tires/clutch/tranny by racing from a stop. Besides, Supras are known to be freeway monsters so more power to him!

We start from around 50mph, his choice. He beeps three times and on his third beep he goes WOT. He floors it probably 1 whole second before me. He instantly jumped a car length and a half. I finish off second gear, then in third when my second turbo spools I gain a half car length back. In fourth I then close the gap and finish him off.

We then pull into a parking lot and he claims his intercooler hose blew, he tells me he wants to go home and fix it and then race again. Sounds like he wants to put race gas in his car, because his friend with a civic hatch had some on him that night. He also told me that he would be racing at maximum capacity. It was getting late, and I called it quits anyways because I don't like to floor my car that often.

BTW, it was my first kill in my 7

Ummm race gas doesn't give you more power... Unless of course ur running extra boost to stop from detonating and all that good stuff.. Maybe you should tell ur Honda friends that, hahaha... People think higher octane= more power LOL...

All I could tell was it had a front mount, catless exhaust, and intake. Anyone have pics of the Supra that won "Best Overall Sports Car" at Falken Drift Show in San Francisco?

its cool bro. I highly suggest you do a lot of research on the FD. its a delicate, special car...its unlike other cars in almost every way(especially in reliability)
