haha, when you come up against an all motor (non turbo) ITR or CRX with a nice engine swap that runs high 12's or low 13's you'll see.
a civic type r engine (b16b) with the only mods being a full exhaust, cold air intake and cam gears (not cams) put down 213whp. thats a big number for a few mods, could add a stand alone, better intake manifolds and cams and probably put that number in the 225-240whp range.

THIS WAS WAY BACK IN HIGH SCHOOL LIKE 4-5 YEARS AGO.

Ok, when i said "Gay Civic" i meant this 1. I didn't imply this to all Honda's. I didn't want this to turn into a "everyone against honda thread either". Just wanted to let u know i showed a cocky civic owner (that doesn't have the horsepower to back up his ego) his place.

those cars are to be called commuters

I dont give two ***** about honda power numbers. their engines dont have any torque or area under the curve, the fact that a type r has 213 whp at 7800 rpm means nothing because he shifts and has to start back at 115 at 6000 rpm. Without at least a 13 second time slip I wont give honda guys respect. They built the wrong car. That being said I am . impressed by hondas that run 12's. but its still the wrong car to build for a drag strip
