Well I went non-seq. Once I got the car. I thought it was great. Not as many problems, got great boost, no transition. But wouldn't get full boost till very late. When you think about it, a single turbo can get it faster than a non-seq setup and on top of that put out alot more power without risking blowing the turbos at 15psi like the twins.

I'm wanting something that can put out 400hp. Boost doesn't need to go anywhere above 20psi. Wanting least amount of lag. Full boost at 3500-4000rpm would be perfect. If I can find a T04S kit I'm going to go with it. But if not, there are alot of GT35R kits out there that I can go with.
I didn't even know you posted this man, haha.

Yeah I've pretty much decided to go single now too. I have the same requirements as you, although if I can get to 400hp that's more than enough for me and what I want to do, I'd be happy with 350-375 even. I'm not so much into drag racing as much as I want to autocross or road course, which is why I thought of staying twin or going BNR. I'd like to have an even quicker response though, maybe something at least STARTING to boost around 3k, that would be very nice, but that's probably a pipe dream. Of course money is my biggest factor right now.

i'm bored another rant i guess. i understand most frustration some of you get by these drivers, but you can never slander a car because of the kind of people that drive it. that kind of close-minded.
Uh oh, here we go again, haha.

As much as I agree with you, you can't really race him if he keeps ******* up his car, haha.

Ya speedjunkie I would be cool with 350hp but I want to be able to have enough extra. I know what I'm going now. Streetport-ASpec GT35r .70a/r comp 1.06a/r turb-Apexi FMIC

That plus the supporting fuel mods and new wiring harness and all that good stuff.

Ya you are right about me not being able to race him. What a dumbass. I can't wait to prove him wrong when I build my motor by myself. Him and a few of his friends think I'm not going to do my build up or think I'm going to screw something up. See the thing is, I'm not a dumb **** like they are. I actually have sense and know how to prepare and build.

update. I'm not going to use my spare engine so if anyone wants a solid shortblock I'm selling one. But I have been tearing down mine that is in my car. Its still in the engine bay and almost down to the shortblock. Gotta remove the turbos. Waiting on an engine hoist to remove it.

So the dipshit guy keeps talking to me about my car and how he can't wait to get his back on the road so he can race all these people who have been wanting to race him. Now that he sees that I'm not jacking around about my motor and single turbo he is trying to get on my good side. But frap that.

Sounds like a good setup, pretty much what I was planning on running. Have fun with that.

update-My engine has been rebuilt. New rotor housings, alot of other new parts. Mild Streetport and clean as hell. The turbo I finally went with is the T4 GT35r 1.00a/r 850cc/1300cc and BLITZ FMIC. Planning on running high of 15-16psi and low of 8psi. Should be seeing a high of 400-430hp. Depends on fuel/tune. I also installed Pettit Trailing arms, toe-links are about to be installed as well as new diff bushings.

I haven't heard a single bit from this dude with his civic because I now live in Tennessee. But my car should be done in a month or two. So once the break-in, tuning, and alignment is done I am going to up the **** talking and race him when I get back home to pick it up. Then leave Texas on a good note.

^I'd have Steve Kan tune it, **** you already live in TX, what could be better? LOL He could probably get 500hp from that with those magic hands, haha, that dude is a genius. I'll be going home on leave after I get back from the sandbox and I'll be going through Nashville, I'll hit you up when I'm almost there. Should be early next year.
