Cool 88 fc N/A vs. 08 mazda miata

dont know if this counts as a kill

but two nights ago i was on my way home from picking up my girlfriend at her work. the road home is a typical NH highway that is actually a back road with a 50 mph speed limit.
i was just cruising along at the speed limit and i noticed behind me these hid style head lights i didnt think much of it though because they where keeping their distance. but alittle further on all of a sudden he was right against my rear bumper. i was like what the hell then i remembered that there was a passing zone over the next hill. and i was right as soon as it came up he rockets in to the passing zone and pulls up next to me slows a little. at this point i was like ok he wants to race so i looked right at him and we both smash the gas he gets the jump beacuse i had to down shift from 5th to 3rd. so he pulls in in front of me (which is how i discovered it was a brand new miata seeing as how he had temp plates dated for that day) but i dont let up i stay right on him to about 100-110ish at which piont he wont go any faster so for like the next 5 miles i stay right on his bumper until we run into a group of cars doing the speed limit. and from there on we juust do the speed limit because there is no way to pass four cars on this road, that is just asking to wreck your car. eventually he put on hos blinker to turn and right as he turned ha flashed me his high beams so i flashed my high beams in return, and that was it. not bad for my beater rx7 i think seeing as how i have a bad wheel bearing it was pretty sketchy after 90

so...you were just cruising and someone in a Miata decided to try to pass you. You know for a fact he must have wanted to race because only people who want to race pass other people. So this guy tries to pass you, you gun it. He tucks back in behind you and rides your ***?

Is that about right? Or does he actually pass you and you ride his ***?

Either way, I'm fairly sure you love man *** and should give up your RX-7. Maybe you should join NETC and get a FWD car and think it's fast. You'd be much more impressive if you drove like a dick in a Probe or a Focus.

well that was a little unnecessary but you can think what you want. i am sorry that i love rx7s and someone wanted to race me. and i dont think my seven is not fast i just love the way it drives. again i am sorry you feel that to better yourself you have to bust on someone else .
thank you

you're welcome. Sorry, but these "pseudo-kill stories" pop up all the time, and I think of when I'm just trying to drive and people swear to ******* God that I'm racing them..it really gets old fast.

ok i can understad that but i dont race people very often and this is a first in about three months. and it wont happen again for awhile because if i get caught racing i will loose my licensce for the next 2 years which would suck. and sadly its not do to street racing or anything nh has this stupid law where if you are under 20 years old and you get any kind of ticket they automaticaly suspend you. i not knowing this continued to drive and got pulled over by some random cop who ran my plates. and it has been hell trying to keep my licensce since then.
plus i got some fixing to do now that my jetta is on the road again and i dont need my seven as a daily driver
