FB VS. Supercharged Chevy - Video

I was driving along minding my own business when what comes on the freeway right next to me?? I saw the back of the car, wondered if it was tuned, saw the front and was like HOLY ****!!

I revved up and it was on. I didnt remember I had my camera until the 2nd race. In the first race I paralleled him going 70. We looked at eachother, I gave the signal, hit 3rd and floored it. I got up to 80 and about 2 car lengths when I had to shift to 4th. I heard his supercharger kick in and thought 'Im gonna get killed' I got a littly more distance until his tranny hit high gear.

He didnt pass as fast as I thought he would, for whats stickingout of his hood. After it screamed alive, I was up to 90 and he must have passed me going 100 to 110 in those now 3 lengths. Fortunately my car started picking up power, but he got like probally 10 lengths on me and thought 'This kid aint catching up'

I did not think hes race that through the turns, so I didnt try.

After the turns is when I realized I had my camera. I hit record and set it on the dash. When I floored it in 3rd (When he takes off) my camera slid off the dash, and hit the wiper switch on the way down. I had it to the floor the entire time, and thats how much he stomped my ***...

Im happy just to have raced a true beast!!

Enjoy!!!!

Im posting this in the A/V section also

How long do you think those would take to spool?

I think that if you could get them to spool that you would have to find away to get the power to the ground. Anyway good run for what that guy brought to the table. Seems as if you do not need much more to stay with him though.

I have a holley and SDJ header straight piped (2.5") to raptor muffler. Stockports. Its had a good diet, no original exhaust is left, no air pump, no exhaust sheilding, no rats nest, ect. I suspect it weighs 2290 by itself

Ok umm how do we know that is a supercharged V8. First of all I know alot about V8's and they do make Air cleaners that look like that. Now I didn't hear a supercharger I just heard pure V8 power.

^You can hear it when they do the trottle blip thing. Open headers sometimes seem to overpower the sound of a S/C. Also, some of the newer roots type S/C's are designed to run more quietly, due to helical cut gears and differently shaped turbines.
