I don't even know if this is worth posting, but I felt this was sooo hilarious, I had to. So I'm driving home from work just cruising along on the freeway at 12 midnight.. light traffic. I see this focus in the slow lane. I'm guessing he notices me also. He has this gaudy, ugly, and awful body kit that flaps in the wind. He then pulls into the lane next to me. I'm thinking "oh god I hope this guy knows what pulling up next to him." as I see his car make some what of an effort to speed up. I watching him pull past me at a crawl and I see flashing hazards! I'm like NO WAY...... I immediately start laughing. So I think to myself "should I even give this guy the time of day?" but then I also think to myself this guy will probably tell all his friends that he flashed a rx7 and it got scared and didn't want to race him. Of course the evil side of me took over and I ease it into 4th, giving it 1/4 throttle. I blow by him. I decide to go into his lane and show him my brake lights and hazards. He then does the "loser fly-by" and flashes me again!! I think "omg! this guy obviously has no brains. So while he's mashing his pedal into the ground (which I'm sure he's doing) I put it back into 4th and 1/2 throttle this time. I fly by him and do the same, by this time my exit is coming up and I pull into the lane. He goes by me again and flashes.... *sigh* Oh well. I tried my best to educate. =T

 

WTH!!! I have people like that. I personally wouldnt have bothered but i understand why you did. Stupid ricers and there POS cars!

so ths is not much of a destroy story, but more of a ricer fly-by exchange. Is this an accurate assumption??

 

I dunno, instigating fast cars can be fun when driving a piece of ****. When I'm driving my dad's Corolla we like to **** off fast cars. It's just funny and ironic when I can slip into ricer mode in a non-serious way, like when I pulled the hazards on a C5 in the 'Rolla... they get mad sometimes and will get on it hard. For all you know this guy drives a Z06 on weekends.

I did a ricer fly-by on an S14 240sx with exhaust. We lined them up from a roll and he only pulled like two carlengths on me and that Corolla has 120hp.

 

well the 240 has 150 hp stock........so i'm not surprised it only beat you by 2 cars.....

 

The guy was pretty young and by the look of his "under construction" body kit I'd say he doesn't drive a z06

 

Yeah you're probably right. It's just that there's a guy near my neighborhood who has like a Kia, a Hyundai, and a C5 he keeps covered in the driveway.

I had my little fun with a focus a few months back. It was pretty late on a weeknight. I had gone to the grocery store to get formula for my son. Well, he revs at me on his way out. I tried to avoid him and took a different exit but when i get to the light the focus is there. So he's there making all kinds of noise. I ignore him at first but just like you, i go **** it! drop to 2nd and spin all the way to redline. I stayed on his door for a second or two then i pulled a car. Shift to 3rd and whip the rear out, needless to say by this time i'm way ahead. Kill it and slow down to let him catch up but he refused to line up again. I wonder if it had something to do with my traction issues. lol

if you think a escort trying to race you is funny as hell imagine if it would have been a suzuki swift, yeah it happened to me while i was on my TII and i couldn't believe it lmao. he drop the clutch to let me know his mad tite suzuki swift had 35whp and could get 0-60 mph in half a day. neither the less i was in a good mood and i drop the clutch at 7000rpms and let him hear my bov and my rotary sound. after that he didn't even got besides me lol that was a funny day for sure.

 

If you're gonna toy with a ricer, you have to show them your car's true power at least for a moment, that way they don't think your 1/2 throttle pull is full throttle.
