Anyone know who owns this jdm FD?
We where on the 605n and got some free room(after we got outta traffic). We went at it and as soon as he hit full boost the mothafucka was gone. I heard his upgraded turbo and the tial bov he had. His **** is ******* sick!!! I did happen to get a pic of it.
I also wanted to know if the owner of this car is on these forums.

Yes and no! There was a car between us on the fwy and there was more traffic in my lane and as soon as we start going... traffic was coming up fast. So I had to let off and he was gone. If we went from a dig... it would b a totally diff story. I got AWD

No. But if you remove your headunit, you'll probably find it was disconnected by someone before.
When you remove your radio/headunit, find which wire is the remote/antenna wire. Cut the wire and add the appropriate length of wire to each end to where you want the switch at. I put mine on the interior piece that's above your legs, but you might want to try putting it in the glovebox so you don't have to drill your interior up. Wire in a switch which you can get from an autoparts store. You can choose what kind of switch you want, from a regular metal switch to a nitrous looking switch(
). You might want to test it before putting everything back together though.

Actually, we all know alot about you just from this thread. First of all, we know you bought the wrong car. We also know that you are starting to realize that you bought the wrong car.
You spent too much money on too little car and now you can't figure out why your world is upside down. A car that is atleast 12 years older that yours disappeared before your eyes while he left you sitting back there trying to spin your four silly tires. If it were a porsche, ferrari, or even a M series you wouldnt even have gone online about it, but when its a car with a 1.3 liter engine you just had to try and fine some way to redeem yourself.
Its ok, your going to be fine, you dont even have to reply to this. Just sit back in your house and wait for the next major snow storm, then smile and say "**** those RX7 guys" .

If i put 5g's into an rx7(fd) and my evo... the evo would still be faster and more reliable. Trust me bro, i've had my fair share of wins against ferraris and m3's etc... That fd that I saw on the fwy had more than $10,000 invested into it(at lease).

So, I am assuming that the guys w/ the ls7 and ls1's swaped fd's realized they bought a car w the wrong motor.LOL! know ur facts b 4 u start talikng ****.

Man... u really have it twisted dog. It sounds like all u do is think, eat and **** rotary and no other car amounts to an rx7. I haven't even stated what I have in my car and already u r assuming that I put in a **** load of money into my evo. Evo 8/9's run 11's in the 1/4 mile w/ only a $1,000 invested and 4g63's last more than 100,000 miles(unlike the rotary motor). I know damn well I didn't buy the wrong car! I was just looking for a sporty daily driver and i don't think the fd would b the way to go because the unreliable engine.

As for beating m3's I have done it in my fc (1986-91) and its not a big deal. I call straight bs on an evo beating ferraris (unless it was an antique). You can post any video you want just look up Abel Ibarra, Ken Sheepers, the list goes on. here in nYc we have local shop owners in the high 8's with a 1985 rx7, THE FASTEST EVO IN THE WORLD ONLY RUNS HIGH 8's.
Its pointless for us to continue arguing, you were impressed by a faster vehicle so YOU decided to come onto a RX7 forum and then continue to make excuses and badtalk our cars. If I did this, or if he did that.....
You can brag all you want about 1/4 mile times and factory claims but I have personaly seen my friends 88 rx7 run down 2 different EVoIX on the highway in agrred to races, and its only mildly modified. Something is not adding up.

I know of 5 or more people that have fd's w/ls swaps on the evo forums and there are alot of shops that offer this swap. HMMM... I wonder why mazda stoped producing fd's after 3 years(93'-95') and Mitsubishi is coming out with the 3rd gen of an evo(03'- AND BEYOND). Mitsu must be doing something right!
. All in all, the evo is a better car hands down. It's cheaper to make fast and is still very reliable. Fd's on the other hand, are not reliable and are expesive to make faster.
I think the only reason why mazda stopped producing the fd's(in the u.s.) is because they we're not reliable, keeped over heating and wouldn't last over 100k miles. Japan however, kept the spirit r longer only bcuz the car owners out there only keep their cars for like... 40 to 60k miles.These r the things that I thought about before I was considering buying an fd. I bought the evo for the reasons i stated ^ and then some. These facts r pretty true and if u don't believe it then u r in denile. However, I still like the fd(no matter what u guys say) and it is a sick car(when u invest a lot $). Anyways, I'm not trying to start any e-beef w/anybody but when u talk **** to me, expect me to talk it back. Peace!

So just because, the FD looked nice and put it on you he must have had 10k into it, thats retarted. The Fd's ran high 12's out of the box in 1995. I personally know 2 FD's in the 10's with only around $4k invested (turbo, injectors ems).
As for beating m3's I have done it in my fc (1986-91) and its not a big deal. I call straight bs on an evo beating ferraris (unless it was an antique).
