so what you have a FD ??? theres around 25 000 other person on that site that own one too ... what a freakin hasard , eh !??
yeah the FD's are nice and all.... but i wouldnt buy one, because some people, like me for exemple, like the whole FC better. so i couldnt be careless that you have an FD or a freakin WRX, . maybe my car is a 19 years old car, but yours is still a 15-16 years old .... so its not THAT much better or newer.
but the fact and the matter is, dont hate on another fellow 7 owner....

Alot of STI's and WRX's around here all try and do the light to light **** or jump launch then hazard flash people, cuz they know 0-40mph they are good but get destroyed on top end. I only race WRX's and STI's from a stop-100mph or a 30mph+ roll.
To many kids drive these things now you can never setup a decent run with them.
And Netseven. A 2007 hyundai Azera has more hp and costs more than your WRX and it's a ******* Hyundai....
I'll tell you like I tell all the other WRX owners...
Go STI or don't even bother please....

I raced and beat an '03 WRX Wagon with my FC from a 45mph roll. His only mod was a BOV. My car is N/A and I still destroyed him, so don't worry. You'll own. I did feel kinda bad though because he got pulled over after we finished, after he was 3 cars behind by 80. I know, dumb move. Street racing= BAD!!!

I raced a modded STI twice from what I could see he had a fmi boost level was not stock. From a 70 +/- mph roll I won by about 2 cars but from a dead stop he beat me ( did a rotatech style ricer win) he immediately gained about 2 cars on me but by the end of third I was on his bumper He shut down as soon as he saw me reeling him in. My mods at that time were stock turbo 15psi, stock intercooler, 850 sec inj. SAFCII tuned, rtek 1.5, fpr, walbro 255lph, ACT HD pp and a competition clutch 4 puk bronze srung clutch.

Raced my friend's '05 WRX with intake, turbo back exhaust, BOV and suspension mods. My ront bumper was at his rear bumper at the launch. I was passing him mid of 2nd gear and just kept on pulling. I'm a pretty decent driver and he's not bad either. I ran a 13.7 at 102mph with my car on slipping tires and clutch on the setup in my sig.

BTW, kids dont tell me about your FCs or TIIs. I've had 3 FCs before I got my FD. The last one I sold before joining the military was a 90 TII with stage 3 BNR turbo, full racing beat exhaust, wolf3d v4 EMS, ported engine. That was one fast *** car.
FCs are nothing but old outdated cars, they even look old. Even though the FD is not that much newer it's actually built like a true sports car and still hangs with the new cars (and can look new too). Before you start compairing FC and FD, why not start with suspension. FD suspension is worlds more advanced.

Who the hell is comparing FC's to FD? Or new to old for that matter? Get off your high horse jackass. So what, you have a new car. Oh wait, what year is it? Oh its not the latest version? You should sell that old piece of dinosaur **** and get the new one.

To each, his own.
I don't like to pick at anyones car of choice too much, it's your choice and your money, but when you bash a car because its "old" sounds like your a car pedophile to me.
I for one enjoy and love the FC interior and the body style. I don't like newer cars much because they seem "fat". FC's have a more "mean" look to them than other cars and that attracts me to it alittle I guess. I don't like FD's much, clean 5 Series FC's are much nicer in my eye.
But again, to each his own.

Your arguing point is the car is old and therefore it must be outdated?...Well it does not matter how old any car is, a properly set up t2 can run with anything today that is fact! Same with an FD. And about NA's they still handle better than most car's today! Let me throw some new shock and strut's on one and i bet it would handle just as good as your WRX.

My buddys got a 05 wrx w/catback and bov. He lost to my cuz's stock 93 FD with a major boost leak and grinding 5th gear. He was holding 2-3 psi.

Trust me lol, you don't have to worry about me not having fun. You legally owning an FD doesn't mean a damn thing to me, you sound the type of person who ocassionally steps on the gas "OMG GETTIN SIDEWAYZ SO FAST!!" I highly doubt you even have the ***** to drive a stock FD to where you're limited by it's handling capabilities on a real road or a race track. Why did you buy an FC and dump time and money into it when you think they are"old outdated cars"? You're hliarious, and possibly one of the most confused people on this site. Just remember you're in the wrong section if you think FC's are old and outdated. I'm not going to bother arguing anymore with you, I'll wait till you grow the **** up and learn to have appreciation for other people's cars.

I love my FC, I love the look. Looks like a Japanese Muscle car, some of the cars of the era that were oh I don't know... sports cars (supra, 944, starion, 300zx etc)... had similar styling cues.
To each is his own, the FD is a wonderful looking car, but the FC is great looking car as well. That still holds it's own despite it's age. In fact the FC got better skid pad numbers 20 years ago than the WRX does today on much better rubber... I do like the WRX mind, but the FC is still a wonderful car, the chassis is very competent. And With a nice set of wheels and a good paint job the FC looks great.
If most of us didn't think so we would waste our time. I could have gone out and gotten an SRT-4 or WRX. But chose the FC instead, because I love rotary cars and the FC happens to be my favorite, though I do admit I like the FD almost as much. as well as the RX8 (which will be my next car).
just my $0.02
p.s.
I will never understand the animosity between FD and FC owners. *sigh*

Kid how old are you? I've been driving RX7's before you had a license. Do I push my WRX? I said no, it's my daily. I am part of the SCCA and race my FD there. So before you get too ful of yourself, put a shoe in your mouth.

Depends on the circumstances. If it's a 1/4 mile track run they'll be pretty close. From a roll, yes, the stock WRX map blows ***.
However, the WRX with full exhaust and a reflash will win both. To get about equal to a stock WRX in a 1/4, exhaust, SAFC and some map tweaking and tossing some weight will get you about even.
/14.2 in my stock '02!

Check my corvette hp rating. @ 8psi. On a stock motor. No 2.0litre 4cyl or 13b will do that. Not on such low boost.
