OK, I understand they are quiet. Now please, some data. Laguna Seca has a 92db limit, and therfore I would like to know BEFORE I order if the mufflered metallic cat would be required to reach this level. Maybe the unmuffled cat and using turndowns at the exhaust tips would suffice.

Any news on the sound clips? I am sure a lot of people are waiting to hear them before deciding on an exhaust.

Also, if I send you payment now, do I have to wait for the group buy to end, or will my order ship right away?

We are working on the sound clips ourselves actually since we currently have two cars with SMB parts to record some clips but it might take some time because both cars are not in running condition yet. Grant has been busy and has not yet given us additional sound clips so we will try our best to record some ourselves.

If you send in payment now, you will have to wait until the GB ends to receive your part unless you want to place an individual order and take on the duty tax and import shipping fee by yourself. The whole point of participating in this GB is that we will take care of the oversea shipping and duty tax instead of our customers so everyone will receive decent discounts.

Yes, we offer the entire SMB rotary product line, so anything SMB for RX-7 & RX-8 is available through us.

The SMB is quieter than the RB cat back. I was side by side with insomniac at the last dyno and we compared. We both had a downpipe and the SMB midpipe with cat and muffler. His car was quieter and less raspy at high RPMs.

yes, this will happen, we are just waiting for more orders to make this shipment worthwhile otherwise the shipping and customs fee will be high for everyone participating. The exchange rate wont have an effect on our prices.

We actually are hoping to get more ppl in since we wish to reduce the shipping cost for every participant in this GB. But if you guys want us to end this GB asap then we can actually go ahead and just place the order with SMB. So anyone else wants in before we close this?

I think you should declare a GB close date. That way people who are still interested can send you payment and confirm their orders. I was planning on getting a metal cat and exhaust, but I haven't sent in payment yet since the shipping dates and GB end date wasn't confirmed.

Yes. Two months have gone by since the last update to I assume this stalled or shipped? Looking for 3.5" catted, muffled mid-pipe and 3.5" cat-back with twin tips. If this GB is closed, then please provide cost and timeframe for a new order. Thanks.

Money talks.... Everyone always says they will buy but no one ever has money when its time to pay... Im sure anyone whos willing to pay the shipping charge could order just their pieces and pay to get them... The fact of the matter is to make it cheaper for everyone their has to be a larger order which can displace the cost of the fright from over sea's...

We are currently contacting Grant to make sure everything is fine then we will put an ending date to this GB since it took too long. So for those of you who wants to participate and get a discount, please contact us asap to place an order. Thanks!
