Waiting on shipping costs before I sign up. I have a factory lip that I bought from the dealer on my convertible and it is fairly light. Would have sent it, but I just saw this offer tonight.

As to realistic shipping, cost of boxes is a variable. BUT, sending a rear spoiler (much heavier) in a custom build wooden box I put together from VA to CA cost approximately $20 with FEDEX Ground. So, if someone is paying $45 to ship the lip from MN to CA, shipping was gold plated or fairly speedy. Ground takes about 5 days. As said, the box is the variable as those costs and whatever the padding is composed of will be of interest.

Waiting on costs estimate totals and pictures. So far, it looks exactly like my factory piece. Nice job!!!

Besides, at the size of the box required, weight is not a factor in the pricing at all for UPS or fedex ground between those two pices.

Anyway, it dosnt matter, we should not be thread jacking.

OP, please ignore the vitriol and provide the requested information at your leisure. Ultimately it isn't going to matter what I paid. Its important what you want for shipping and your time in shipping these bulky boxes.

Yes, the deadline of this GB is first week of April so this will be open by end of March.

As I have mentioned before, it is possible as long as we get 15 deposits on top of the 5 lips that are already made. We announced that the shipment can come in earlier than the deadline only when we get 15 deposits on top of the 5 sample lips. Once we get the 15 deposits, we will get the factory to send out 20 lips and we will start distributing them.

So we will need 6 more deposits as of today to get the shipment ready.

 

can i have a pic of the damaged one? how bad is it? how much cheaper do you think it would be? its going on my autox car anyway, so if its not that bad, ill take it.

and, to the guys arguing over shipping earlier, i shipped a 23 lbs. clutch kit to canada last month for $9.53. so, it just depends, i guess. hopefully we will be lucky. especially since he will be shipping a bunch of them. maybe a discount from the shipping company?

 

The defective unit has been spoken for and the buyer will have until Wednesday to reply to us. If it's not gone by then, it will be up for sale.

The price for this defective unit is $120 + shipping. Shipping will be worked out within couple days since we had a recent delay on the box orders at the factory.

Got a stupid question, will these fit on a S4 with our modification, or would it be a PITA to put on. If minor modification or none is required ill take a CF one.

 

Probably want to check the 2nd gen tech section. I have heard of people putting S5 lips on S5 bumpers before though, yes.

 

no it wont fit at all. just get an S5 bumper, they are cheap, look better, and readily available.
