not yet, we just received the lip from RockLobster on Friday, so we are going to get it to the factory asap within next week and get the rest of the info setup, including prices, shipping estimates, and deadlines. We will try our best to get these info out asap. Thanks!

Where do we send a deposit? Berkeley isn't too far I could probably make an excuse to pick it up.

Little tabs etc. I do think that it wont be difficult to make sure all the screw holes are located and correct. I also think that it should not be hard to produce a piece that, once mounted, will look exactly the same...

But, ultimatly, its not me that will be able to tell us all this.

The paypal address is kevinlin22@jklre.com

For all, yes, it will be an exact replica of the OEM lip because the cost will be higher for us and for fellow customers if we start applying modification to the item. And this will be much faster if we stick with the OEM design.

And the idea is to have it be a simple bolt on with no weird fitment or drilling of holes yes?

yes, we want to make everyone's life easier, that's why we want to stick with the idea of OEM exact replica. You will be able to install our lip the exact same way you install the OEM unit.

FYI, the factory attachments are screws with those metal screw clips. I replaced the screws that were on the car with new stainless steel ones and fender washers to ensure a tight fit. My lip was un-altered but im not sure if the fasteners were factory even before i changed them. Im not sure how that simple black lip is afixed to the bumper but those fasteners might work.

I guess what i am saying is i probably cant offer much concrete insight into how TII lips are fixed to the stock bumper OEM wise.

how about this? we will try to get some clip type washer piece to go with the mounting holes for the lip, but I cannot guarantee as of now whether or not we can definitely find such hardware. If someone here has a better idea, please share with us.

Not to be pushy, but I was just wondering how the plug is working out for you and if you finally got a workable mold yet? I ask because I'd actually be interested in seeing some pictures (that and it might be nice to show everyone just how much labor and supply goes into making a single mold).

we have already sent out the original OEM lip to the factory and they should be receiving it within several days. We will definitely show some pictures of the sample when it is finished, but for now we have to ask everyone to be patient with us. Like I have mentioned before, it will take up to couple weeks before we will see the sample. The factory has their priority and schedules too, they do not just work for us, they do business with many companies like us, so we will have to follow the rules also.

I would like to keep that confidential. But I can tell ya, they are couple states away from CA.

BTW, we have multiple factories working with us, this is just one of them.

I'm interested in the CF version depending on the price.
Will we be getting an estimate soon?
