Look, i'm really sorry, but i'm not happy with this lip. I was expecting what was on page 1, that wasn't what i got. I can't mount this on my car.

I know you went through alot of trouble to get this to me, but here's my complaints.

1) the endpieces are very poorly attatched, mine are chipped

2) the both corners have so much resin on them, that you can barely see through them.

3) there is a crack running through all that resin on the left side

4) MASSIVE chip, and crack just to the left of the join in the middle.

Crymson, sorry about the defective unit, we were in a rush when shipping yours out so we did not even get a chance to check the unit before sending it out. Also, some of those damages could have been caused during shipping. Anyways, We will send you a free replacement once we get our next batch in.

One thing I need to mention is that the resin at the corners is made thicker is because it is a sudden change in direction and they added the excessive resin to make it stronger and hold the shape.

We have to apologize if anyone is disappointed in us because of this incident. We are very disappointed as well to see unsatisfied customers. Our customers' satisfaction is our first priority. It is totally our fault this time for not checking the unit before shipping it out since we were really caught short on the time. We will improve our service in the future until we meet your satisfaction.

Again, we never had bad quality parts leaving out facility before since we always checked them before having them sent out. This time, it is really our fault for not taking the necessary precaution. Again, we guarantee the quality, if the product has any quality issues, we will send you a replacement for free.

Also, as you can see in the pictures we posted, the unit you received is a defective unit since you can see the quality of our lips in those pictures. And all the lips come fully wrapped with bubble wrap from the factory so we did not get the chance to remove them and inspect the quality when we were shipping several units due to us being caught short on time. We literally had to spend almost 45 mins on packing one of these lips since we had to join two boxes together in additional to all the packing on the lips themselves.

Nuvolari, Scott has already received the lips and he seems to be satisfied with our quality.

Thanks JKL.

The lip was extremely well wrapped, but the box it was shipped in, was not sturdy packaging and stiffened with only some extra cardboard and inflatable bags.

I think it would be in your best interest to invest in a solid molded styrofoam 2 piece core and box to package these into. Flexing and bending must be prevented at all costs with a unit like this.

I know i would be willing to pay more for secure and reinforced packaging.

I know you and your company have been extremely forthcoming with the troubles you've had.

I'm still fully supportive of your business -- and because i love my FD, i am happy to wait longer for a high quality product. Besides, i'm in Canada, it's about to snow soon so as long as another batch gets built by spring, i'm peachy.

Crymson, thank you very much for your feedback. Even though both of us are a little disappointed in this incident, but it is a good lesson for us. We never hide our problems from our customers so your feedback is really valuable to us and the other customers. As far as everyone has already seen, we ran across numerous problems in the past regarding shipping lips and we have been trying our best to improve them but they always seem to need more and more improvements.

As long as you bear with us, we will always take care of your problems.

I'm very interested in getting one of the plain weave carbon fiber lips for my FD. They look great and you guys seem to have excellent customer service. Am I too late to put my name on the list or do I have to wait for the next batch? Thanks in advance.

You walk in the office on Friday morning expecting the day to be hell like any other Friday. Once in a great while the man in brown or the fed-x guy delivers some thing which gets your heart beat dancing. The feel of being a kid again in a instant. The feel of "Yes, It's Finally Here"
I have found myself in this emotional state many a times in my life and being honest to ones feeling of disappointment when the reality of WTF is this **** hits you like a ton a Bricks sucks ***. The taste of bitterness lingers in your mouth and remains with you through out your shitty day. The feeling of PURE disappointment in a product remains with you for eternity.

however, this is not the case!!!!!! After all the delays and hiccups in the production of the C/F lip. I was very surprised at the over all quality and not the mention the bomb proof packaging.

He should be excited it's like a lottery, some are winners others are loosers and have damaged ones and get to wait another month for a second try.

I will see the "good " one tonight and I hope it look as good as your's does "FDSeoul"

As far as our refund policy goes, we do not offer refunds on GB purchases. For regular purchase orders, we will offer refund if the order is canceled before we process it. Let us know if you have any other questions!

hey guys just got home and had my package sitting there waiting for me.
Open it up and the thing is cracked and chipped everywhere. The left side is basically cracked completely off. Honestly i really hope i dont have to wait too long for another one. Its already been long enough.

I'm with FDSeoul. My lip came in and looks awesome. No cracks, a barely visible seam, plus I got plenty of spare boxes that I can use for shipping now. Thanks, JKL. Was well worth the $50 shipping.
