yet another new guy without a 7...:P

Hi all! Prospective FD owner here. Just thought I'd introduce myself as I float around the forum doing as much research and taking in as much info as I possibly can. Only been on the forum about a day or so and I've already learned a lot more about the FD than I ever knew (which coincidentally wasn't very much lol)

Sometime between now and next summer I'm looking into getting myself into either an FD or an S2K. Even with the "money dump" risks of owning an FD I still can't shake wanting to own one!

While I'm at it..anyone here driven both a stock FD and stock S2k (ap1 and/or an AP2?) looking for some feedback as well!

Anyway aside from all that just wanted to say hi!

FD>SK2 for pure sports car. Continue your research and pick out a well cared for FD and you should have no problems. Welcome!

The s2000's do look sharp. Then again, I'm more of a hard top guy. Welcome!

I've driven both, both manual/stick-shift. Frankly, the S2000 has a nice get-up-and-go to it when you sit in first/second while the dealer rep grips the door handle in white-knuckled fear, but nothing beats the tunability and pure speed available from even a non-turbo'd 13B. I'd take my RX-7 any day.

Finally got my RX7!

So today I picked up an S5 Vert. Only needs a water pump to get her on the road. So excited!

and it also came with the wheels I wanted! yay! all center caps included!
