TX yeah im the noob here!

well i just moved to houston back in march and came with nothing but the cloths on my back on a train from michigan. i of course needed to get a car so i can get a decent job here. so i was online looking to find my self a cheap fixer upper and found an 80 rx7 on craigslist that looked straight in the pics... so i just went and looked at it and asked if it was stollen and if the vin was rite! it was legit so i handed some cash over and drove it home with the bird poo and all! it sounds like its missing a little the whole way home and it over heated a little just as i pulled into the driveway. she got me home after a half an hour so a good scrub is in store for her tomorrow then for the rest of the week im gunna try and figure out why its funning so rich and check out the cobble job of a so call rewire that was recently done to it. of course it will be extremely interesting since i have no clue how a rotor motor works... wish me luck!

Sounds like a project. watch the overheating rotary's don't handle it well. What model is it does it have a newer engine. I working on putting a new engine in a 81 that has been sitting around.
