Hello to all.

I am not a Rx7 owner, however I am a friend and brother to two Rx7 enthuziasts. Both my brother and my friend have 2nd generation Rx7s. My brother has had several different years, but he currently has the 2nd generation maybe 88' convertable. My buddy has had the same car for the past ten years it is a 86'or 87' convertable that he has done work to and I am pretty sure he added a turbo and other things to it.
I am telling you this because I am sure the casual car fan can be picked out of a crowd miles away. I am one. These two are not however. I am here for them.

I am getting married and these two will be in my wedding party. I would like to get them unique gifts and not the same old beer glass and a money clip deal...

Here's my idea. I would like to purchase some old unusable rotor housings and rotors, clean them up, and add a couple of speakers and a ipod dock to them and gift them as a garage stereo. That's the plan. I have no idea how or where to get unusable parts. Everywhere I looked so far they are all used and expensive...my guess is that unusable parts will be less expensive and they won't feel so bad about having them...since they treat their cars like people, I am sure they would see this as an organ transplant gone wrong....anyway..
