Trini Greetings... : )

Hi my name is Sheldon Phoolchan,,I recently bought a 1983 S2 Rx7. I was always a fan of the nissan engines and owned rb20det and sr20det powered vehicles in the past. But as a kid i was amazed by the rx7 and rx2's but more so the 7's. So i decided to fulfill my dream late last year i got my hand on this series 2 with a fc3s series 5 turbo engine in it..the body was in great shape for an oldie all the electronics worked perfectly!!! But what shocked me the most was this rotary engine,,, i was in awwwe by the way it worked and sounded,,the s5 engine was basically stock except for the mild street port the guy i bought the car form did as well as changing all the seals so it was basically a new engine when i bought it. I never knew a rotary ran so smoothly and the fun factor in this car is out of this world. I recently bought some aftermarket stuff and the front and rear end set up from the fc3s,,so i will be on the tech posts needing your wise advice. I am glad to finally be part of the rotary family.

P.S- trini is short for trinidad and tobago( a small island in the south of the caribbean)

Some peeps have all the luck. Found it with the swap already done and all the chassis electrics still worked? Freakin' schweet. I've got an '83 GS RX-7 sitting in the driveway with perfect chassis electrics also...but it ain't going anywhere soon with its dead engine.

Congratulations on the find and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!
