I remember back in 1993 the first time I saw an FD RX7. I was working asbestos removal and the guy in the office building next to my work had one. I went over to him and asked him about it and he offered to take me to lunch. I have wanted once ever since that day. It has taken me 29 years, but I Finally own a 1993 Mazda RX7!!!!
Thank you for the warm welcome. The care needs a lot of work to get it to where I want. The previous owner absolutely loved the color silver so he put silver decals and stripes on everything! It has a Supra Style wing on it that is going to be replaced by a 99 Spec Wing, and the hood has louvers cut into it, so I am in the market for a stock hood if you know anyone who is selling one, please let me know!
Congrats on the car and thanks for saving it from...whatever that guy with the silver paint and JB Weld was up to.
I agree 100% about the viper comment. JB Weld.....lol. Thank you, it only has 67,000 miles on it and it was his baby as the interior is as perfect as a car this old can be. The paint and exterior is in amazing shape as well. It is going to undergo a transformation and will look much better in the end, I promise! I will keep you guys updated!
Welcome! Those are some interesting vents and color scheme, otherwise the car seems to be in good shape.
Thank you! You know the saying in the Corvette world. Just because you have money....doesn't mean you have taste. It has awesome bones and it will be super fun to transform it into the car I have always wanted!
