So, Introductions are due.
not really new to the forum. Ive been around for about a year or so reading and learning stuff.
Decided today I'd finally make an account and be a part of the community.
and seeing as i'm enrolling into technical college in January for Automotive, having a place to ask questions out of school will help out alot.
I fell into the world of Rotary and Drifting 7yrs ago when I was 10.
My aunt had an s4 GTU and i fell in love with that car haha. i'd been into cars since i was little and the fact my aunt and uncle were street racers just kept me going. my aunt is very close in age to me. I wanted to be like them. Street racing. I know its dumb but i didnt know it then. Going to the street races watching them drag race. Since then my view has changed. Im more interested In Racing on a course because its more about skill and alot more challenging. Thats my real passion. but i do have a side that likes drifting.
I dont really limit myself or label myself into the "Drift only" group where they drift like in D1 or FormulaD. I mean its cool and all and i do have respect for it. But my view on the "art" of drifting is its simply a way to keep your opponent from overtaking you through turns by making it nearly impossible to over take from the inside and out side.
So..theres more id like to say but ill limit myself to this until i have another chance.
For now, im gonna lurk and learn haha.
Later,
