RX7 convertible girl
Hi,
To start off with my name which is Tiera, I have owned two '88 convertible Rx7.
My last rx7 I wrecked which was a shame it was my favorite car and it had no problems nothing was ruined it was perfect and I was going to modify to my complete satisfaction, but I didn't get the chance to. So I sold this other car that I owned and got the same car. So I thought.
This car that have now is the worse the transmission is going out the shifter started blowing steam at me, it makes crazy noises, the clutch needs to be replaced, the passenger side is rotting, the shift linkage needs to be replaced, the driver side door has a big scrap on the outside and the only thing that is holding the window up is a string, the upholstery on the roof is missing so if i ever flip the car over (which I pray that will never happen) my brains will be everywhere. That is what I know whats wrong with it and I don't know much about cars at all. But I love these cars and I do really want to learn how to take care of it by myself.
Oh and by the way I for some reason but that I was a male but I am a Female.

Wecome aboard, I'm new to this group, and own a '88 'Vert also so may be able to help with any problems you have down the road, I'min NC so a long way away, but clse bythe internet. Good luck with the car.

Windshile wipers
Tiera,
Thought I'd ask, do your windshield wipers work in all positions of the switch? There is some tech info that the relays on the board in the swtich go bad and you might only get 1 speed and no auto park, that's how mine are now, I'lll try to replace the realys on the board, but it is a real job to take apart.

I have an 88 vert too! Mine seems to be in great shape now. I need a new antena and my horn does not work. Got to get this fixed ASAP so I can get her inspected! It's great to have a female here that feels the same way about these cars as I do. Too much testosterone thrown around in here sometimes. LOL
I have already gotten a lot of help from these guys though. Can I friend you and we can update each other on our babys?

damn, i feel you on having a pile to start with.
i have full convertible doors with working regulators, and door harnesses i would let go of for cheap.
lmk what you need, i probably have it. im parting out a 90 vert, and yuba isnt that far from where i live
