RX-7 Lover
Hey everyone,
I'm Tywin. I'm an Online Production Associate for caranddriver.com from Ann Arbor Michigan Home of the Wolverines! GO BLUE!!!
I basically came here to learn more about FD ownership. And more about the rotary engine as well. I hope the community and support on this board is better than that of the 240sx community. I've only heard good things about this board though.
When I bought my 240sx I was hoping for the community to be mature and helpful. Instead I found kids in tight pants and neon colored glasses running around in half complete, rainbow sparkled, cars.
Corny Story: About a decade or so ago, my brother, cousin, and I were all up late playing Gran Turismo 3. We were trying to win as many F1 Cars as possible through endurance races lol. We fell asleep after our 3rd win. So my cousin wakes in the middle and starts yelling "GUYS GUYS WAKE UP!" and scares the **** out of me and my brother. We get up asking wtf was going on, and he tells us he had a dream that had all of us in it.
He was in an R33 GTR, My brother in an NSX, and myself in a blue (montego? lol) RX-7. We were racing each other through some busy roads and streets. All I remember him telling me after that was that I slam my car into the back of a bus, got out, and started "dancing like a squid". The car and I were both fine. We laughed our asses off. And since then this very incident reoccurs in my mind when I see, hear, or talk about RX-7's.
You're all probably wondering: "Was it destined for me to drive an FD? Will I crash into a bus once I find my Montego Blue chariot? More importantly.... what the hell does "dancing like a squid" look like?"
I guess time will answer your questions. But I COULD show you how to dance like a squid if you want...
