welcome to the club, have you had any real experiance drifting before? i ask because i know how all 16 year old kids get their licence and then think they can go and start racing and drifting and end up wreking their car cause thery really dont know ****. just curious
i agree with kstout. i was a dumbass when i was 16 let alone 20. i am here to learn a new motor and understand it to the best of my ability. i am deploying in a year and plan on buying an fd and attempt to put a 20b into it and drag the car while still having it be street legal. i am in love with the fd. its has turned out to be my realistic dream car and i dont think id rather have anything else. in all honesty do you think you could handle the car and the power? what is the most horsepower that you have ever had in front of you? just things you should consider that i have spent time thinking about.

hopefully you will love rotary engines and join the rotard club. They have gained a bad reputation over the years for being unreliable, but the truth is the engine is good and the owners were broke. the rotary engine is completely different than a piston engine and requires different maintenance. rotaries have apex seals and side seals that act like piston rings. the difference is that lubrication of the seals in a rotary engine require oil to be injected into the engine as the rotor spins instead of being forced through pinholes in various piston engine parts. some people premix the gasoline to further help w/ lubricating.
the plus side is, rotary engines are very power efficient. the movement of the rotors enables the engine to produce twice as many power strokes than a piston engine, and it wastes less energy because the rotors never have to stop like a piston does.
