paraplegic noob
what up, i joined the site looking to get in to the rx7 world. they have been my favorite car for a while. im saving up to finally get one. im looking to fix one up i need an automatic since i am a paraplegic, id like to eventually swap to ls1. if anybody has any advice for me about rx7's or the swap let me know or just how to go about doing anything im open to suggestions.
Welcome!! It is always inspiring to see some one not letting life get them down. It really puts my issues of finding a good racing seat for a fat man in perspective.
As far as an LS1 swap, all I can say is give the rotory an honest drive before you do the swap. There is nothing like the feel of a 50/50 weight balanced vehical if you like driving on anything that has curves. If you are saving up I would suggest starting with an FC. There is a multitude of parts available for not too expensive.
Anywhoo, welcome.

Friend of mine is a paraplegic, he has a hand control that does both brakes and gas depending on how you move it. I tried it in his 6 once, definitely takes some getting used to, but it wasn't too bad and pretty easy to control.
