Hey, my name is Matt, I live in Olympia WA and I am starting to get interested in these triangles of doom. A friend of mine drive an FC and I got a chance to wrap out some gears one day and enjoyed myself. I don't own one yet but I'm hoping to in the next few months. I was referred here to learn a bit and ask some questions, get some ideas and learn some dos and don'ts when it comes to buying, any pointers would help.

First thing I would say is get a straight, clean 1stgen body and then procure a good 13B engine for a seriously brutal ride....but that's just me...nasty ol' 2ndgen's...

I would buy one that runs and drives well and work from there. Look for 3rd or 2nd gen turbos or 85, 84 GSLse.
