New to the forums and RXs in general. Familiar enough with what a rotary engine is and seen em looking good on the autocross track. Finally got a full time job way out ini CT and earning money for once, so looking at my first fun vroom vroom purchase.
Currently trying to hunt down a pretty FC, preferably brilliant black with t-tops and a turbo at a good price in my area, though guessing I may have to leave some wiggle room on body style and possibly add the turbo myself later on. Not looking to set any tracks on fire yet, just something passable and more fun on the road than my 92 hp Saturn. Hoping to do performance mods later once I figure out what I need to know about this car, calling it a "learning experience".

Currently looking at doing something along those lines--buying out of state and driving it back. Unfortunately, I'm only free weekends and I can't get to the DMV when I buy the car to get in-transit plates because they'd be closed then.
Alternatively, I'd have to buy the car and gather all the paperwork to register it fully here and then get out to pick up the car, which means double the trips/cash. Lovely how the DMV keeps their hours.
