FL newbie 2nd gen, and I dump the clutch whenever I legally can

Thats all I got! I run a 2nd gen and have just in the last week of my 10,000 mile since owning the wonderful rear wheel drive 2nd gen rotor blown the radiator, both engine mounts, the ring gear off the fly wheel, behind the motor with an incredible 2.5 in of space against the fire wall a horrible cooling line while breaking the male ends off since they were factory parts. And have fallen in love with the oil leaking motor. To correct that, bad oil cooler lines from the factory. Please help, I'm Not Spending the factory price for oil lines. Nor ebay. Thats how I roll! And all b schite aside everyone I've ever met is amazed at the condition of the car. In and out. I've never "drifted" it. It's not worth me ruining. I love spoiling the car. While shifting at 8! I took an on ramp of 35 at 75 and the guy on the bike that cut me off almost schat himself when he looked back to see me on his ace! Well, then he left me like nothing on the straight me having a N/A. Love the rotor. Matiska

If you're replacing OC lines, may as well upgrade so some bulletproof braided lines. That is, if you intend to keep the car for any period of time.

FL lol! Thanks for the support.

So in lamons terms here. Ive had the car for 7 months. And think my Sh*t is together little buddy. Meaning I've put about ten thousand miles on the car and in the "Last week" broken the motor mounts, radiator leaking ect. The whole condition thing meaning the car is beyond super clean. Being 22yrs old the orig parts are just breaking down. I'm 31 with 4 kids rocking a minivan! You'll all find I have a great humor about me if you guys read my posts. Sold my Teggy, susp, t3-4 turbonetics 450 rc ing, upper control arm and rear 4 degree repl ect ect ect for the van for my wife. Hence the three month old twins and the bus in the driveway. I'm just here to make friends and learn more about this car. The more I drive it the more I love it. Kept my last car 9 years. Not planning on getting rid of this one. I make sweet love to it every night with a micro fiber and a air hose to dry it off. I manage a wheel shop. NOT ADVERTISING. But when I get permission from the site will b happy to help anyone with a rx7 get some light weight wheels or tires.

Ohhhh no grasshopper. One must learn the ALL MIGHTY clutch kick before driving. One must walk before trampoline super kick. One must find balance between car and foot. And on oneself, car must stomp on "Driver" leaving him helpless on the side of the road with two broken motor mounts at one time. THEN! Grasshopper will you understand the beauty of the.......Clutch kick.. And the balance of the Non torque motor ripping Rotary. One must learn not to side step the motor at Eight thousand then snatching in second like Japanese Cherry Tree. Then...THEN you will take Gti VW with stock (almost) Rex 13b. When you master body flex and suspension. I seriously think everyone puts mods on the Rx7 then tries to learn the car. Learn it first. Then tune part by part. Learn one step at a time. Then tear some A** up.

FL Thanks a bunch

Thanks a bunch for the post! Great site. What do yo know about rear tranny mounts? Replaced the motor mounts, ball joints. I'm planning on never getting rid of this car. Way to much fun. Would you please send me some links. I'll run out of time and keyboard telling you what I've replaced on this car. Quick links are great. Not trying to waist you're time. I appreciate everything from this site. Mike

What Bike?

Well Ok. I'm 31 now and had a Motorcycle license (with safety) course when I was 16. The first vehicle I ever learned how to drive on period was a Suzuki 750. Never drove in my life then there was the bike. Looking back I dont know how the heck I talked my mom into it. Anyways, I love the guys that go to take a turn ten over and kick they're leg all the way and pop they're ace to the side of the bike like they are about to drag they're knee on the ground and do a over blown turn. HOWEVER! I do have bragging rights here. I manage a performance shop in Orlando Fl and have for 12 years now. Front upper control arm replacement w 4 degree camber, rear, All way around adjustable, Poly everything and bull strut brace w whopping 1.5 drop w springs. Turbonetics t3t4. Injectors ect ect ect. I have picks no bull. THE REAL STORY. I was politely (using blinker and all) Doing the speed limit or maybe 4 or 5 over at most weaving through traffic and the Monday drivers drinking coffee and talking on the cell to work. I saw this jack flip on a bike trying to keep up but had no nerve behind me getting cut off by cars left and right. He had at one time juuuust caught up w me to my right then immediately had to slam on his brakes being cut off again and me finding the perfect window slipped through and "maybe" got up to ten over to get to the on ramp, passing all traffic leaving me FREE to the on ramp with a wonderful bank to 75 legal MPH. Out of nowhere this jack flip on a Cbr 600 passes me looking back at me turning his hazards on cocking to the right with his ace just to get in front of me literally a good 100 meters before the turn. I blew a fuse and by pure instinct dropped it into second and having a motorcycle license didn't entirely get on his rear wheel to chirp it. He was too busy trying to under correct his over turn to look back. I'll say with complete honesty here we were both doing seventy two on a thirty five on ramp and my Achilles Atr Sport tires were giving me on and off "feathering" noise (no squeal) in the turn. And all bull aside the guy looked back and almost schat seeing me right there. Then he did peg it out in third and left me. I think if he had the know how he could have lost me in the turn. Especially with the weight of a 600. But either way. To end this thats the bike and I had a bunch of fun.

Thanks buddy. same at you sir. I know some about the ring gear, motor mounts. Rear vac lines to the motor. Behind the motor cooling lines. Oil leaks that dont seem like the gaskets that everyone tells you to replace. An easy way to run a aftermarket tach lead. And a few more things. Lemme know.
