Just joined. Not an owner yet but will be shortly. Looking at a 1990 Rx-7 convertible with 110,000 miles, manual, engine will start but no power at all. My guess is that it's shot. Don't cut me off but seriously looking at a v-8 swap. Joined this forum to get more information on the difficulty. will probably go with a Ford 289 or 302, not sure if I want to go the easier carb version or a later model, computer controlled fuel injection. Got a million questipons but can't post yet till I get to 10 (seems like a strange rule but I'm just a newbie as of now, so what do I know). Looking forward to the challange
