TX Newb_ Looking for an FD shell decent price.

Hey all! Name's Kris! I live in the Houston Tx. area, and I drive 3KGT's, but I'm getting tired of the body style. So I'm seeking an FD with a good body, but without an engine and trany for a decent price. So who's gottem, and how much do they usual go for?

Yeah! I checked out craigslist and found this "http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/2104485681.html", but the price just doesn't seem right for just a shell. Copart seems like a good option, but my friends and have gotten a license yet. So I'm looking for someone around Houston on the forms that can point in the direction of the right people. Thanks for you consideration thou.

Thanks "gracer7-rx7" Just looking for the right deal for me.

Well I'm 28, and I've owned two 3KGT's for ten years now. I can completely disassemble and reassemble their engines and other vehicle components for these cars. I'd rate my experience, confidence, and capabilities as a seven with these vehicles. As for my goals with this car is to have fun. LOL. What about you Oppa637?

Thought you mentioned you haven't gotten your license yet so wasn't quite sure. lol. I had really no experience with cars except for a couple bolt ons. Then I built one of these. My build thread is somewhere in the south section. Its still a work in progress but come to the meets to get advice

Yeah! Sorry about that. When I get tired I make all kinds of grammatical errors. What I meant to say was, my friends and I haven't gotten a dealers license yet, other wise I would already have an FD. Now I've gotta 2JZ with an HX60 to drop in one of these SOB's, but it all comes down to the price of the shell. But if I can't find what I'm looking for I'm just going to end up make my own tube frame and body. FML!

Did you buy yours as a shell?
