Just bought a basket case for $650.
It had a small fire under the intake manifold in 1997 and was parked ever since, engine is locked up tight. Of course it's missing some parts and the drivers exterior door handle is broken. But the car is about 90 percent rust free.

 

Oh, it's an 87 turbo 2 in sunrise(?) Red with 147k miles on it.

 

Sounds like a nic ecar to restore!! Do you have any pictures of the car to share? What are your plans for the car?

 

I am first going to have to either rebuild or replace the engine and repair the fire damage. The interior is just going to need some parts replaced and a good cleaning. Then hopefully the last thing will be a decent paint job.

Made some progress today, housings feel smooth through the exhaust ports. Wonder why it's locked up.
