RI new to rx7

Hi, everyone.

My name is Kamal. Im twenty one, turning twenty two, may 3rd. I have always loved rx7 my dream car has apways been a white rx7 turbo 2. My older brother owned sevral rx7s i remember my first ride in one. The feeling you get with the throttle down and your.body getting pushed back in the seat. The sound of the blow off valve. I said to my self i must own a rx7!

So with my daily driver purchased i had some extra money in my pocket. I set off looking for my rx7 turbo 2. Every where i look i could not find a nice one,.either no motor, blown motor, rust bucket ect. Months and months go by. I come across a first gen rx7. So many question i asked do.i really want this car? should i wait for a turbo 2? will i be happy with this car? So finally i say F it i always wanted a rx7 who cares if its a 1st gen atleast i can say i owned a rx7.

I purchase my 85 rx7 12A the car is clean, grey besides the black hood and rims that are all ruined. So i buy the car for 1500$ it needs a tune and a new exauast. The car sits in my drive way for two months before i even drive it. I polish the rims. Get it tune, put a straight pipe., and oh my god. I could not be happier. The way this car sounds the way it pulls . I launch it the factory buzzer goes off telling me to shift but i hold it not intill the light goes on. There it is big.yellow light on my tak. 9000 rpm hits bam shift tires screech the car starts to go sideways still pulling keeping me pushed against my seat a big grin on my face. I love this car!. Every where i go people ask about the car every one likes it. This car is older then i am but its my baby i couldnt be happier even if its not a turbo two. I have no plans on getting rid of this car and idc how much money and time i have to put into it. I love this car! It always has me on the edge. Just the other day i found my self lost in the note of the exhaust, i look down WWHOAA im going 125mph, and the car still wants to climb.
I tell her i love you!

With my story told, i am.now a proud owner of a 85 rx7 and i am loving every minuite of it.
Nice to meet you all,
