New to rotary world with a project.

Hi I just recently joined wanted to introduce myself. I just recently got my hands on a 1991 fc3c vert. It's a project needs some work and reassembled. Ive always been interested in the rotary engine since I drove my friends 1990 rx7 13b na when i first got my drivers licenses. Since then I fell in love with the 13b. 2 years later he let me drive it again after he turboed it and then the dream became a turbo fc. Well I got my turbo fc. Driving a fc with the stock turbo2 swap (like my friends 1990 and now my fc) I don't want to leave it stock. The performance junkie in me wants more but maybe its my inner Tim the tool man Taylor needing more power hahaha. I want to know if I upgrade the turbo to a gt3582r running lower boost can I run the stock turbo2 550cc injectors while I save for the oil injection upgrades, fuel injector upgrades and pump upgrades.

First let me say welcome. This forum is full of great members and information, we're glad to have you on board. As far as your question about the turbo, I wouldn't run a big turbo at low boost. You will probably see, if anything, a performance loss as a bigger turbo at low boost won't be as punchy as the stock turbo. Just my 2 cents, of course.

Thank you, your 2 cents helped me decide to just keep the stock turbo. I decided to wait to put my bigger turbo on till I can rebuild it so I can have my desired reliability.
