New to the rotary world but really eager to dive in.

Some of this is a reiteration of what I posted in the survey thread to up my post count so I'll try to keep it brief but fully explain why I'm here!

As the title implies, I'm new to the rotary world but I'm eager to get things started. I'm here because a while back I picked up a classic 74 Fiat Sport Coupe CC model and wanted to make it a fun road racer/autocrosser that I could be proud of. Now I've done engine swaps before so the basics aren't new to me but with each new type of engine comes its own back of tricks!

After some deliberation with my chums it was decided to put a rotary engine in it for the compact size it offered, great hp/cubic liter ratio and that I've never done an import engine before. At first I wanted to just rebuild the 1.8l that is in it but the cost of doing so would be the same as putting some time in money into a more modern motor and the hp gains would be comparatively nominal. I've seen a rotary dumped into a 131 before and although it had a short life before being wrecked, it looked like a blast so I'm all about pursuing this venture.

I have plenty of questions on my mind but instead of posting them here I'll do some more searching around here and if I don't think anything is adequate enough I'll make a post and hopefully get some answers and a solid direction to take!
