New to the rotary game

Hello,
Just picked up a LHD original 93 FD Canadian car (am I in canada) with a 13b built by forcefed (forever ago, 2008 was original build, 2014 was motor refresh) so there are no illusions the car will be some work in progress but that was what I was after. The body is rough, but shows no rust, frame is rust free. There are some things that I need to clean up, and I still need to get an out of province inspection done, but I just wanted to say Hello.

I am coming from the LS world (I wont swap it right away, I promise lol) I have a 2011 CTS-v Wagon that runs in the high 9s but its full interior and has amazing manors for the power it makes. This little rx7 seems like its trying to kill me every moment behind the wheel but its quite fun.

I do have some questions with regards to how its running. I am going to start with the basics of plugs, injectors because I think I am getting spark blow out at 10psi. So ill make my way to the motor section and see if I can figure out what plugs to get for this car and see if that helps with my issues so far.

Welcome!! Looks like a really great car to start with! Also looks to originally be Montego Blue. Always loved that color! Do you know any of the car's history?

Yeah, you are correct, montego Blue car, was repainted at some point. Car has lived its whole life in BC, 5 owners, 212,000 km. 1 claim 2 months after the car was registered for 10k in damage (it was a new car at that time so could be pretty small) but then a few small claims in the 600-900 range. I think some were glass claims.

Car was built in 2009 by forcefed, then the motor was rebuilt in 2014. I know its long in the teeth, but it has a lot of parts on it, and I wanted a project car and this seemed to be "rough" enough to make it priced more reasonable but shows no rust, has good glass. the interior is in good condition, missing a few plastic covers, but complete other then front seats being replaced and all gauges and lights, windows, ect working.

Should start tearing into it this weekend, have to sort out why its blowing out spark and make sure the fuel/tune are safe. then ill start looking for some of the missing interior parts, and the driver door needs a new gasket.

I'm glad you know some history on the car. That stuff is very important to know in my opinion. Its definitely a solid car to build and I look forward to seeing a build thread on the car!
