Whats going on guys. Recently moved to Tokyo, Japan and purchased a 1997 Type RB Bathurst X with about 78,000 miles on it. It is very OEM, as its only mods are 99 spec front bumper and tailights, OEM Momo steering wheel, Mazdaspeed carbon shift ****, an ARC super induction intake, Apexi Coilovers, SSR Vienna LM9 wheels, and a kakimoto catback. Plans are to keep it OEM+ and do some small restoration projects. The Red interior that came with the Bathurst X has seen better days with the leather seats having some bad sun damage, but the carpet looks good with very minimal miscoloration or stains. The map door lid is missing (go figure) and the leather armrest pad on the center console is glued on. Does anyone know if BubbleTech made a RHD version of their map door lids? Also, I need to replace the shifter bushings as there is quite a bit of slop and play in the shifter. I see multiple places online selling the bushing kits but say 79-95, does this also extend to the later years of japanese rx7s? I cant see mazda changing the bushing designs, but want to make sure they will fit prior to buying the kit. Looking forward to learning as much as I can about this car and from you guys!

I'll have to post some more once the car is in my possession! The dealership has to put it through the Japanese Compulsory Inspection and a few other things for registration before I pick it up. I think I'll keep the red carpet, but still undecided in reupholstering the seats or just swapping to some bucket seats and finding the black leather for the rear!
