New to Rotaries/ Skeptical!
Hey guys,
Im 19 and currently in college. For quite some time now my freinds dad has had a 1987 rx7 turbo 2 sittin in his driveway not running. I offered him some money in the summer but it wasnt enough. Well just the other day, I asked him if he had sold the rx7 since it wasnt in the driveway anymore. He said no and said it was at the shop getting a new starter.Jokingly, I offered him a small amount of money for the car thinking he would refuse it but surprisingly he said yes! So im going check the car out this weekend hopefully. I know the car didnt run for a while and supposobly the shop has it running now. The car from what I remember is in decent shape, and has mods like a fmic, some gauges, exhaust and what not. I am skeptical about getting into the rotary world as I have very little knowledge of these cars. I have been reading a lot lately and am trying to learn as much as possible. Hopefully I will pick it up this weekend and start working on it. I am looking forward to asking you guys some questions because I know I will have plenty! This site looks like a great place to start and there seems to be plent of knowledgable people. Thanks and I will keep you guys updated.
Cheers
Tommy
