New owner from SoCal!

Hey guys, just sold my integra and picked up a FD. Just wanted to see if theres alot of FD owners in so cal. I rarely see them around.

Anyways I just picked up a 93 black/tan touring edition. With sunroof and bose sound. Any one know of any good shops around the orange county area?

Heres my new FD with my brothers s2000

and heres my Fd at a shop getting a tune up and muffler fixed.

Welcome to the forum. There's a few fd's in Orange County. But they're always getting worked on cuz they barely run.

Car wouldnt pass smog due to a hole in the exhaust. So I just picked up a tanabe racing medallion. Gonna install it tomorrow and run smog again. Wish me luck

Heres a picture of the tanabe catback. It is a little showy for my taste but i got a good deal on it. With the silencer it sounds pretty good, almost stock. Im not sure what it sounds like without it. It came with paperwork saying that it is 50 state emissions legal and under 95 db. So hopefully i would get hassled with it on. Let me know what you guys think?

There are tons of FD owners in SoCal but I too rarely see them driving.

Come to Sevenstock next Septemberish and you'll see 50 FDs in a row flying by on the freeway at 6AM.

did you get one of their universal mufflers and have something custom made? Should've gotten the Medallion Touring. That's such a nice exhaust. http://www.tanabe-usa.com/touringmedalion.asp?id=7

Its a full tanabe catback. I found a really good deal on the catback. My Oem muffler had a hole in it. The new catback sounds really quiet with the silencer on. And it came with paper work that said 50 state emissions legal and its under 95 db. My next catback would probably be the racing beat catback. I like the oem look of those.

wow, I've never seen that before. is it a discontinued style or something? must be, because there isn't a "racing medallion" on their website

The DC integra was the 1st car i owned. I had it for 8 years. It was a great car but too much of a Hater and theft magnet. I had my car broken into 4 times and stolen and stripped once at school.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to check this meet out when im free.

Don't take your car just anywhere. Find a good shop through the forum or do the work yourself. Lucky7 Racing in Duarte is where my FD goes.

Congrats on the purchase.
