I'm Back In a RX7
After a 15 year absence I just bought a GSL SE a few weeks ago with 82K on it and all original. Even though the shocks are worn on it, driving the car reminds me of what got me into rotaries in the first place. There are a few minor maintenance items that need to be addressed but nothing that you would not expect on a car of this age. The car is super clean and I'm happy to be back in a RX7.

Man, it's like there are a lot more GSL-SE's out there than anyone ever imagined! Congratulations on the purchase and welcome aboard!

Thanks guys! I've had a couple FB's and 1 FC back in the day but I always wanted a GSL SE.
I've had the car for 2 weeks so far and I've replaced the clutch and brake master cylinders as well as the slave, braided brake lines and clutch line. I also picked up a glass moon roof off of Craigslist and replaced the steering wheel with a Sparco wheel, did a tune up with RB Ultra wires, K & N filter etc. I also replaced some misc. trim pieces with new OEM parts.
On the way I have all new belts, new radiator, thermostat, RB silicone rad hoses, ReSpeed race coilovers and Tokico Illuminas. Before I even found or bought the car I have I went ahead and picked up a set of ST springs and sway bar kit. The springs I'll probably sell (decided I wanted to do coilovers) but I'm going to put the sways on the car.
After that I have a few more maintenance things I want to tackle before putting on a complete RB street port exhaust and order some new wheels for it and some more goodies.

No pics because I've been really busy and it's been raining so I haven't had a chance to wash it yet. Here is a link to the for sale posting that has pics (not sure if that is allowed here).

As you can see the car is silver, with red interior and 82K. The car is a California car and I'm the 3rd owner. The guy I bought the car from purchased it from the original owner with 75K. I have a copy of the original bill of sale and the actual registration from 1984. Total sale price was $20, 309.20 in 84.
