Hello everyone, my name is Christopher I am 22 and I own a 1988 RX7 sort of. I came across this RX7 after months of looking for another car. I thought if I couldn’t find something I like, why don’t I build something I do like which is why I bought this car. I’ve always like the both the FC and the FD to the point I would try and one up other kids in middle school, by saying “when I go to high school I’m going to have an FD faster than whatever you have”, sadly that didn’t happen and I got an accord instead lol. I'm happy that I have something that I can work on and truly call my own.

Wow it’s good to know there are other Rx7 fans in Texas, as for what I plan to with the car are to make it into another DD to fill in for my accord. This will be my fist time working on a rotary, so it should be pretty fun.
Texas is a big state...and we love all different types of cars. Some of the best RX7 tuners are in Texas and lots of rotary fans! Good luck with your project!

^^^ What he said, I know a LOT of rotary fans in Texas. Welcome though, if you're ever in the Dallas area, let me know, always good to meet new Rx7 fans.
My friends and I have an rx7 we run in Lemons, and it was our first rotary project as well. We had to replace the main water-seals (whatever they're actually called escapes me now)... and we found the rotary motor was actually not too difficult to work on. We managed to slap it back together and it's lasted an additional 6 races (we blew it up in our 1st race)... so, if a bunch of know-nothings-about-rotaries can get it done, anyone can.
