My name is Tom. I purchased an 88 rx7 convertible this fall with a completely disassambled motor. I got burned buying a supposedly cherry motor from craigslist, I may have learned my lesson. But I also have 4 motors now, and my car doesn't have one in yet. Cheers.

Thanks! I'll be moving it to the garage tomorrow to get started on putting an iffy motor in to get it started.

 

I think we've all got one or two horror stories from CL unfortunately...

 

Duct tape used as a stop gap for the tears in the top, otherwise it is clean.
