CA New member! Just bought my first FD!

Hello!

My name is Patrick and I just bought my first RX-7. Some of you may recognize the car as he is also a member here. Can't wait to get the modding started! I've always wanted a RX-7 and I finally got one! I will see you all at seven stock!

Pretty sharp looking FD! Looks like the car has been modded already. What did you have in mind for mods?

Thanks! Yes it has been modified already but in the long run, a single turbo setup with a v mount is the ultimate goal. The car’s engine isn’t modified other than intakes. The body, I’m going to keep the stock titanium grey from the spirit R but I am going to repaint as there is an area where it needs to be fixed. I might as well repaint the whole car. I am also thinking of getting rid of the panspeed wing since it its what the previous owner built, not me. The rest of the body will stay the same. So not too many upgrades but ones that will truly make the car unique.

I like the way you're going with the car. How does the car currently run and drive?

Thanks! I unfortunately do not know I live in Chicago and I have a friend and cousin who is helping me take possession of it until I get little things fixed here and there. I am flying back in a month or two to physically see the car in person. But according to them, the car drives really well with some small things that needs to be addressed (clutch lines, power steering pump, and a small oil leak) But super excited to get it perfect!

It might be! I don't think this was posted for long, if at all. I know it was on Facebook for a bit but I heard this through my cousin's friend.
