IL New member from the chicago

I'm new to the rx7 crowd,I've previously own a handful of 240's and a few miatas. I picked up an 87 fc for a pretty cheap price and couldn't pass up on the deal so here I am. Currently I'm just slowly fixing a few things here and there but for now the goal is to make it a fun car and take it to the track once in awhile. At the moment it has a 383 stroker which I'm sure you guys will let me have it but I always wanted a V8 in a small Japanese car that i could mess around with. I already have a set of wheels laying around along with a set of coilovers and an 8point cage waiting to be put in when I get a chance. PS i tried to edit the title of this post but its too late for that apparently, working a 16hr shift tonight so im trying my best to make this legible.Looking forward to getting trolled by everyone. Thanks

Welcome. It's not my cup of tea to have a V8 in an RX-7. But what really matters is that you love the car and are enjoying it. And honestly I bet it's pretty quick and is probably a lot of fun to drive! Does it have a manual or automatic transmission?

unfortunately its automatic at least for the time being until I either come across something affordable or the motor blows up and I do another set up. The car is fun though and more importantly starts up everytime I need it.

Not long. Picked it up from an older guy who had it sitting around for about a year or so collecting dust.
