New driver with Rotary

I'm about to become legal age to drive but I have been hammy downed a 1990 manual RX-7 Convertible that has been showing me how fun it is to drive. The car itself is awesome but as of this moment, it is a money pit. Today I was going to pick up the RX from the mechanic(was there because of a power steering fluid leak) and on my way home the car started lurching and becoming extremely week. I quickly noticed a check engine light that was pulsing quickly and then would turn off for about 3 seconds and then would repeat. I have read about a "limp mode" when the OMP is troubled and I believe this may be the problem. I am excited to get this awesome car on the road but also look forward to getting info and recommendations from you all. Speaking of recommendations, anything immediate I should do to fix this limp mode?

Welcome! Sorry to hear you're already having mechanical problems but that's just how owning old cars goes. Good luck with the engine troubles!

You should switch to a standalone and go with premix
