hello, first off i would like to say what a beautiful website love it. ok, so im 16 years old....first car was a 1989 240sx that was a parts car i bought from my brother, it was really in bad shape and my brother wanted to crush it but i wanted to save it, so slowly by surly i pulled the blown KA and dropped in a junk yard KA and got it running to find out it had bad rings..plus all the interior gone, so i decided to sell and save up again "all this was done at 14/15 years old too".......I've been looking and learning about all different Japanese 90's cars and came to the rx7 im trying to learn more about the fc3s and the rotary, i drove in my friends s4 fc3s TII and just fell in love...he started to teach me a little about rotary's but i still need alot of help. i think that's all about me. so ill leave it to that and thanks for having me here and i know im a nuwb lol. any advise y'all can give me i would really appreciate it thanks oh and im from New Orleans, Louisiana

 

I'm about an hour from N.O. Houma, LA and I just got my first rx7 ('94) a few months ago but been driving rx8 since I was 17. Also have a 240sx- '95 s14. I don't see many rx7s here in southern Louisiana. Just recently a shop opened up and I see a few FDs there now and then.

 

nice to meet you BStallion, yep not many around here only a few fd's but hardly any nice fc's , i only know of 2 , that's one of the reasons i want one...because there none around here and its something different then the same old 240 , have you heard of NoStreetRacing.org?

 

Haven't heard of them. Besides at car shows there's only 1 fc I've seen (at an old used car dealership) and 1 fb which stays out in a yard. Im the only fd and s14 in my area and only 1 other has an rx8 and it's the same other as mine. I see alot in the town. There's a website for an rx7 club of new Orleans I've ran across before and a baton rouge forum sportsnimports.com. Ppl around stare hard at my old cars and wanna break their neck when i pass in my rx8.

What?! Turbo ka or sr? I had gotten an rb25 but couldn't find anyone to help me do the swap so I sold it and bought a '93 300zx. Sold that too

 

its a sr , have you ever looked up "nico" its straight up all Nissan, one of the best nissan websites a tun of info on swaps,but i guess you dont need that anymore lol , so you only have the fd and and the rx8?

I currently have an rx8, rx7 and 240sx.. Doing an r33 front conversion and painting the 240 right now..

 

looking good , is the rx8 turbo'ed? , nice only seen a one with that conversion should look good.

 

rx8 isnt turbo.. had one in the past with a greddy t618z turbo kit.. just rx7 is running turbo, on the stock twins.. heres a shot of my 240 as of today.. if you click on the pic it gets bigger..

its a na. he said it was running till the fuel pump went out. from my understanding there is a fuel pump relay that goes out pretty often on these cars

 

man i so want this but i Google mapped it and its 5 hours away from my house and my dad doesn't really wanna drive that far sucks but he's still thinking about it, thanks for sharing this with me.
