New guy from Tacoma, Washington
Hey, would like to say that I've been lurking on the forum for a long time and have a few posts up already, which are mainly in the PNW section. My name is Colin and I've been around the import scene for some time now. I am currently lead blogger for S12Silvia.com and Events Editor for NWMotiv.com. I have also had a couple of my blogs published on Speedhunters.com and my Nissan has been featured on the site.
I was given my 1991 RX-7 FC (NA) from my best friend before he had to move. It was having some slight issues and he couldn't continue transporting it as he moved every so often (Airforce). I knew more about cars than he did and if I didnt know, I have the connections to those who did. So as a present before he moved to NorCal he gave it to me. Ever since then I have been taking care of her and using her as my daily. I can safely say that it was the car I was looking for before I got my Nissan, which turned out to be my first car. At the time I couldn't afford the maintanence that an RX-7 required so ended up with my '87 Nissan S12.
I am looking to slowly build the car up so it is slightly modified while respecting the styling the car came with. There is not much I would change about the car anyway as it has beautiful lines as is.
There is not much more I can think of at the moment but I'm sure there will be plenty to say in the future as the car progresses and comes into its own.

Yea you might have seen my s4 as well, it is blue. We ran into that guy, actually he stopped by while we were there and we talked for a couple minutes, it was a black s4 t2.
Edit: You said s5 so maybe we talking about someone else. Anyway if you need any help from a local, i live about 10 min away.

It may have been the same guy. I only saw the darker FC from down the block and it looked like an S5 from what I could tell. Either that or I just wanted to see another S5 since they are indeed my favourite. So for all I know, it could have been an S4. I only saw the car from the front and I dont really notice the distance as well between S4 and S5 from the front but only from the back.
As for my S12, I'll keep it in mind; however, I doubt I'll be selling it any time soon. Love the car and it is a car I have yet to work with in getting ready to be a designated track car.
And thanks for the welcome guys. Looking forward to spending time with some FC guys, which are always the elusive and quite look upon with favour by many of us Nissan guys. Both the FC and FD are sexy cars and loved my heaps.

I havent gone to any dedicated RX7 meets as of yet but hope to change that this year. I go to meets and events all the time but usually with my S12 as it is more of the car people wish to see. My FC is my daily, which is not a bad choice since it needs to be driven more often than a typical engine demands. I have some plans for the FC but it will take some time and I have to contact potential sponsors and see if they are willing with this second project.

Naw, I wont forget to bring the FC. If I am going to a designated RX7 meet, I'll be sure to bring the FC. That doesnt mean you wont see my S12 if you go to other events such as Formula D or Forum Fest, but I would like to start getting my FC project started some time this year.
