I picked up my first gen 1985 rx7 gsl and I only got it for 700 in amazing condition its my first car too

That's a great deal! It was the 1st gen RX7 that got me hooked on the rotary engine! By the time I finished with racing beat modification I bought over the years... I ended up having all my brothers following my previous footsteps after there 1st ride!

 

At least you made a good choice for a first car to get. personally i really like the FC3S best b ut that just my taste. i bought mine for $600 didn't run but didn't take to much to get running....

 

Where did you manage to pick that up from? I'm thinking about getting a 1985 rx7 series 3, but i've never seen one so cheap.

Congats on the buy! I also have an RX7 that is my first car as well, absolutely love it. Warning though, they can become money pits. I got mine for a pretty decent price and I've already invested half of what I bought it for in about 8 months. Welcome to the forum and let's see some pics
