AR New Guy here

Hey everyone,

My name is Nathaniel Barbeau from Searcy, Arkansas. I'm currently a senior at Harding University graduating in 3 weeks!!!!

I got into cars from my dad. Hes a car salesman and enthusiast himself. Started in highschool actually turning wrenches on cars and i've worked as a tech for the past few months at a Toyota dealership.

I currently drive a blue 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS and its been a great car, but i'm ready for an upgrade. Since I am graduating soon i will hopefully find a job and the first thing i plane to buy is an FD.

I hope to learn a bunch from you all make a few friends. [IMG][/IMG]

Are rebuilt motors acceptable?

All of the cars i am seeing are rebuilt OR have 80,000 miles and i've heard that the motors need rebuilding around 60,000 miles.

Milage is a big deal. my FC has 180k on the body and almost 70k on the rebuild NA 13b. and its runs great Still really strong and powerful. Before you buy an FD get it check out for vac leaks and all the stuff. Make sure everything is working before you get it becuase FD are kinda pricey.

Rebuilds are acceptable. just make sure it was rebuild by somebody who isnt **** and if they did it them selfs I would get it check out by a local rotary nut. Mazda Dealership or something.

Get Receipts!!

Anyways good luck man, I graduated last year and it is bad *** not having school.

When you get your FD Put up some pictures!!
