New guy from Azusa Ca
hey guys! my name is AL. i just recently bought a 1988 RX7 FC. Ive been always wanting to get an RX7 because of its rotary engine. i want to learn alot from this engine and i mean everything. not alot of people know how to work on this kind of engine and i dont see a lot of poeple drive a RX7. i used to drive a 240sx hatch. i had fun with that car and sure i missed it but the 240sx/drifting scene changed so much and to be honest i dont like it anymore (no disrespect to other 240 owners but i know you guys know what im talking about). hopefully the Rx7 community is better and i would learn a lot from here. thank you.
welcome! im in the same boat as u. still noobing up the rotary but found some good info on this site. alot of reading tho. i grew up near azusa, matter of fact remember dating a few girls from the highschool over there
hahaha highschool by arrow hwy? i just got home from the smog station and of course it did not pass lol. i should get it done by tom. are you familiar with THE HEIGHTS in azusa?

hmmm the heights...not really sure. is it those nice homes near the canyons?
haha id go if my 7 was actually running. i turned the engine over this weekend and nothing but fuel started gushing out from somewhere. i have yet the time to fix it with work slaving me away
I feel ya on that & Welcome, I also am a new member here and hope to learn alot about these engines and cars here at the Rx7 club. I still want a 240 but that's another story for another time. I'm going to be out there in the Azusa area this Saturday to visit Lucky 7 racing so they can take a look at my First 91 rx7 fc, more or less to school me and assist me if it was a Smart Purchase or not.
