New guy, and another FD with an RB25

Hey whats up everyone, My name is Jeremy. I just recently bought a 94 rx7 with an rb25. I have a bunch of questions for the guys that already have this swaped into their cars. Here are a couple pics to start with.

I've been working on mine since 07 and still at it. I should have it done by this summer... Hopefully lol I remember seeing the build thread from the guy you bought this from.

Yes everything works, My problem is in the rear end Im "assuming" there is a clunking noise and just weird stuff going on. And from the pictures and from what I can see, the "Custom Brace" Or whatever the square tubing with chicken scratch welds is holding the rear end up. Im just going to have to go through some things to make sure this thing isint going to fall apart.

Yeah, I saw the pictures of all the fab work on that build. I was definitely not impressed but everyone has there own methods. I think its a good idea for you to go through everything just to put your mind at ease because its better to be safe than sorry. I have a friend that does all my welding up here in Chicago and he does a pretty damn good job. Just finished my custom intercooler and I'm actually going to have a new turbo manifold fabricated because the one I have now is a little too close to my brake booster.
