New forum, switching platforms.

Through some twist of fate I ended up with 2 RX7s. both 88, 1 with an 85 motor, which seized on the ride home, 5spd, racing beat carb conversion, holley fuel pump ,fpr. Then another 88 with a widebody fender kit done professionally , auto, fully rebuilt for turbo motor in 05' [13b]. and 18"wheels w locks. ok . I will be taking the goodies form the first 88 w the carb, but not the carb, 5spd for auto 2 5spd, and of course the LSD. putting them in the new wide body, which also needs litytle things here n there like a new rad(other rx) some brake calipers(other rx) get the picture? Ihave seen the widebody around the corner from my house for years, never moving, or anything. Turns out the car was freshened up about 3 to 5 years ago, and was parked. It sat for 3 years, starts right up. I will def. need some spacers, cuz the wide body is too battleship. It needs to be painted, as its primered from the widebody/non flip headlights. I will be posting pictures in the next few weeks, when I start swapping parts.

Hm. My name is Ron, I live in NY, and always wanted an RX7. I wound up with a 90 supra, cool car, motor was bad, blew up in a month, bought an 87 z31, loved it. got hit by a mercedes, got another z31, 86 , threw a rod, used the body for a turbo project, found another 88 auto, scrapped the turbo project due to a spun bearing in new motor, swapped trans, swapped turbo stuff, had a sweet z31. blah blah time tim e, im in FL, forced to leave it behind at the rented house. boo hoo, got over it, got RX7's now ITS ON!!!!
yeah sorry for being lame and writing a million year post. im not poroof reading it either, soooo sorry.
