Hey guys my name is Keith and I picked up a 1993 Red R1 back in July. I am in the process of finishing the body work and color changing it to Carbon Grey Metallic. It will be another month or two before the car is done but I cant wait to drive it. I'm tired of pushing it around the shop!

Will do Kent. I bought the car with no motor and since I am a die hard 4g63 guy I swapped in a 4g63 and kept the RX7 trans and the rest of the RX7 driveline. I will post pictures when its finished.

Yeah, I am definitely not the first to do it. I think the 4g63 will be pretty fun in this car. I will easily make 550-600whp on straight pump gas and will be using an AEM v2 box for the ECU which can do boost by gear and traction control. That should make it a bit easier to put that HP to good use. I rolled the front and rear fenders and would like to run a 295/35/18 in the rear. Just need to find a nice set of rims with the correct offset. I don't really plan on drag racing the car. I just want a fun street car/highway monster.
